What is a RAG chatbot, in plain words
A normal AI chatbot answers from what the model learned during training. It does not know your prices, policies, courses or products, so it often guesses. A RAG chatbot fixes this.
RAG stands for retrieval augmented generation. Before answering, the chatbot searches your own documents, finds the most relevant parts and gives them to the AI model, which writes an answer based on them and can show the source.
