Is HTML minification worth it?

Minifying HTML usually saves a small amount, often 5 to 20 percent before compression. Servers that use gzip or Brotli already shrink HTML a lot, so the real-world gain is modest. On WordPress, LiteSpeed Cache can minify HTML automatically. This tool is handy for static pages, email templates and HTML widgets.

Minify styles with the CSS minifier and scripts with the JavaScript minifier, or extract readable text with the HTML to text converter.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this HTML minifier free?

Yes. It is free with no sign-up, and your code stays in your browser.

Rarely. The tool keeps pre, textarea, script and style content. Check spacing between inline elements after minifying.

Only slightly, through faster loading. Content and user experience matter far more.

Can I un-minify HTML?

You can reformat it with a beautifier, but removed comments cannot be recovered. Keep your original file.
