Favicons in Google search
Google shows your favicon next to your site in mobile search results. It should be square, at least 48 x 48 px, represent your brand, and be reachable by Googlebot. A clear, simple icon helps your listing stand out in a list of blue links.

Is this favicon generator free?
Yes. It is free with no sign-up, and images never leave your device.
Do I still need a favicon.ico file?
Modern browsers use PNG favicons. Some older tools look for /favicon.ico, so you can also save the 32 px PNG and convert it if needed.
Why is my favicon not showing in Google?
Google updates favicons when it recrawls your homepage. Make sure the icon is at least 48 px, square and not blocked by robots.txt.
How do I add a favicon in WordPress?
Go to Appearance, Customize, Site Identity, and upload a 512 x 512 px Site Icon.
