CGST and SGST vs IGST

If you are in Faridabad, Haryana, and your client is also in Haryana, the sale is within the state, so GST is split equally into CGST and SGST. For an 18% service, that is 9% CGST and 9% SGST. If your client is in Delhi or Noida, which are in other states, the sale is inter-state, and the full 18% is charged as IGST.
