Free URL Parameter Remover: Clean Tracking Links
Remove tracking codes like utm_source, fbclid and gclid from links, or strip every query parameter at once. Clean one link or hundreds, ready to share or compare. Paste any link to remove UTM parameters, fbclid and gclid before you share it.
How to remove tracking parameters
- Paste one link or a list, one per line.
- Keep “Tracking parameters only” to remove UTM tags, click IDs and similar codes while keeping parameters the page needs.
- Or remove all parameters, or only the ones you list.
- Copy the clean links.
Tracking parameters this tool removes

gclid, gbraid, wbraid | Google Ads |
msclkid | Microsoft Ads |
igshid, si | Instagram and other share buttons |
mc_cid, mc_eid | Mailchimp emails |

Why clean links?
- Share cleaner links in WhatsApp groups and posts without long tracking codes.
- Avoid messing up your analytics. Reposting a link with someone else’s UTM tags credits the visit to the wrong source.
- Compare link lists without the same page appearing many times with different codes.
- Build sitemaps and redirects with canonical URLs only.
When you do want to track a campaign, add your own tags with the UTM link builder. Never add UTM tags to internal links on your own website, because they reset the visitor’s original source.

Will removing parameters break my link?
Removing tracking parameters is safe. Removing all parameters can break pages that use them to show content, such as ?id=42, so test those links.
What is fbclid?
fbclid is a click ID that Facebook and Instagram add to outbound links. It is used for ad tracking and can be removed safely when sharing links.
Can I clean many links at once?
Yes. Paste one link per line and they are all cleaned together, with duplicates removed.
