Schema Validator: Check JSON-LD
Paste JSON-LD or a page's HTML to check structured data. The validator finds JSON syntax errors, lists every schema type it finds, and flags required fields that are missing for common types.
How to validate structured data
- Paste your JSON-LD, or view your page source and paste the whole HTML.
- Fix any JSON syntax errors first. One missing comma breaks the whole block.
- Add the missing required fields listed for each type.
- Confirm on the live page with Google’s Rich Results Test.
Common JSON-LD errors
| Error | Fix |
|---|---|
| Trailing comma before } or ] | Remove the last comma |
| Curly quotes from Word or WhatsApp | Use straight " quotes |
| Missing @context | Add "@context": "https://schema.org" |
| Required field missing | Add it, with the same value as on the page |
| Rating without review count | Add ratingCount or reviewCount from real reviews |
