Useful ways to sort lists
| Task | Best sort |
|---|---|
| Clean a keyword list from several tools | A to Z with duplicates removed |
| Find long-tail keywords | Length, longest first |
| Order prices or scores | Numbers, smallest first |
| Shuffle names for a contest or groups | Random order |
| Undo the order of a pasted list | Reverse current order |
Natural sorting for numbers
With “Ignore case” on, the A to Z sort also handles numbers naturally, so “Sector 9” comes before “Sector 21” instead of after it. This is handy for area lists like Faridabad sectors, invoice numbers and file names.
Pair it with other tools
Build a list of local keywords with the local keyword generator, sort and clean it here, then group it with our keyword grouping tool. To pick random winners from a list, use the random name picker.

Is this text sorter free?
Yes. It is free with no sign-up and works in your browser.
Can it sort lines that start with numbers correctly?
Yes. With Ignore case turned on, it uses natural sorting, so 2 comes before 10. You can also choose Numbers, smallest first.
Does sorting remove duplicate lines?
Only if Remove duplicates is ticked, which it is by default. Duplicates are compared without case when Ignore case is on.
Is there a limit on list size?
There is no fixed limit. Lists with tens of thousands of lines work, depending on your device.
