Free Website Traffic Goal Calculator
Find out how many website visitors you need each month and each day to reach your online sales or enquiry target, based on your conversion rate and order value. This free website traffic calculator runs in your browser, with no sign-up.
How to use the traffic goal calculator
- Choose a revenue target or an orders and leads target.
- Enter your conversion rate, the share of visitors who buy or enquire. Find it in GA4 or with our conversion rate calculator.
- Add your current traffic to see the gap.
The formula
Visitors needed = orders needed / conversion rate. An online store that wants ₹3 lakh a month with a ₹1,500 average order needs 200 orders. At a 2% conversion rate, that is 10,000 visitors a month, or about 334 a day.
Two ways to close the gap
| Lever | How | Speed |
|---|---|---|
| More traffic | SEO, Google Ads, Meta ads, social media, email | Ads are fast, SEO builds over months |
| Higher conversion rate | Faster pages, clearer offers, trust signals, easier checkout | Often quicker and cheaper than buying traffic |
Doubling the conversion rate halves the traffic you need. That is why improving your pages is often the smartest first step.
Plan where the traffic will come from
Split the visitor target across channels. Estimate what SEO can bring with keyword research, see what that traffic is worth with the organic traffic value calculator, and fill the rest with ads using the ad budget calculator.

Is this traffic calculator free?
Yes. It is free with no sign-up, and your numbers stay in your browser.
How many visitors do I need to make a sale?
Divide 100 by your conversion rate. At a 2% conversion rate, you need about 50 visitors for each sale.
Where do I find my conversion rate?
In GA4, compare key events or purchases with sessions or users. You can also divide orders by visitors for the same period.
Is it better to get more traffic or improve conversion rate?
Usually both, but improving conversion rate is often cheaper, because it makes all your existing traffic more valuable.
