Meta Pixel Event Code Generator
Generate Meta Pixel event code for standard events like Lead, Purchase, Contact and Schedule. Add value and currency, choose when it fires, and copy code you can paste on your site or in Google Tag Manager.
How to add a Meta Pixel event
- Choose the event that matches the action, such as Lead for a form.
- Add a value and currency if you know what a lead or sale is worth.
- Choose when it fires: on a thank-you page load, or on a button click such as a WhatsApp link.
- Paste the code on the page, or in Google Tag Manager as a Custom HTML tag with the right trigger.
- Test it in Events Manager, Test events.
Common standard events
| Event | Use for |
|---|---|
| Lead | Enquiry or form submission |
| Contact | Call, WhatsApp or email click |
| Schedule | Booking a visit, demo or appointment |
| CompleteRegistration | Signing up for a webinar or account |
| Purchase | A completed payment, with value |
| ViewContent | Viewing a key page, like a course page |
Pixel plus Conversions API
Browser tracking alone misses some events because of ad blockers and privacy settings. Meta recommends adding the Conversions API, which sends events from your server. Many WordPress plugins and Google Tag Manager server setups support it.
